Osaka city makes an official decision to end sister city relationship with San Francisco

At the Board of Directors meeting held on December 13, Osaka Mayor H. Yoshimura and attending directors adopted a resolution to terminate sister city relationship with San Francisco.

Notification of termination will be made to the city of San Francisco however, after the election of new mayor, which is expected to take pace in June, 2018.

There were 1336 rape cases within the first 10 days of US Occupation of Japan in Kanagawa Pref. alone. To prevent further rapes, US generals demanded the Japanese gov. to establish RAA-licensed prostitution facilities such as the Yasuura House below.
